Comment: Black Shack at Denver,1966, Orders to Okinawa changed by telegram while on post-school leave. With Det.1/USAF/TAWC, Santa Rosa Island (Eglin AFB) 67-70. Never made it to an "operational unit", but took part in over 70 launches of the Mace as the MQM-13A and B MaceDrone. Enjoyed playing with the MM-1 tire pressure from the cab to worry parade marshalls just before the roll off!

My Dad, Big Mike Hodgden was with the fire dept., and on the bowling team, still have his shirt and trophy. I don't know what sqdn. or flight he was on, but believe it or not I still have his Area badge and silver name tag with the missle on it. He was there 58-
